Invicta's Weekly Roundup

Dear Invicta Parents & Carers,

Thank you so much for joining us this half-term, it's been a jam packed week of English, Maths, History and fitness and we hope you've enjoyed it as much as we have.

We had a total of 14,339 lessons booked with an 84% attendance rate which, especially for voluntary lessons, is absolutely fantastic. Great statistics for us but the benefits to your children are even greater. All-in-all quite an achievement in one short week!

Our next course will be during February half-term (dates to follow soon) but in the meantime there are our Higher Ability English classes to look forward to in November and don't forget that our brilliant teachers are available to book for private sessions if there's something specific you want to work on. All the information you need is available on our website.

We've also created a NEW Invicta Academy Friends & Family group on Facebook to support, share ideas and resources, and inspire parents, carers and anyone concerned with making up for lost learning. It's a place for you to ask questions or start conversations with us and each other. Please join the group and help us build our community, we can all benefit from talking to each other!

THE RESULTS OF OUR TAG-LINE POLL ARE IN!

We had a great response and lots of you came up with your own ideas, we loved 'If you could choose to be anything, choose to be learning' (how very true) and then 'We came, we saw, we conquered the world' (perhaps not quite as true but we're working on it!)

But here are the top 3 as voted for by you:

3rd place (21%) - 'Education beyond the classroom'

2nd place (23%) - 'Learning today, leading tomorrow'

1st place (40%) - LEARNING WITHOUT LIMITS

We are delighted as that was our favourite too so we're glad you agree. We feel it really sums up what Invicta is about.

Thank you to all who took part.

Very best wishes

Anna Firth & Caroline Platt
