I am passionate about primary education and the teaching of young children, ensuring that they are ready and adequately prepared for the next stage in their own learning journey and encouraging them to become life-long learners. I have received training in Philosophy for Children Level 2 and use this approach in my teaching which enhances both thinking and communication skills, boosts confidence and self-esteem leading to improved academic attainment. I teach 1:1 and/or in small groups, planning a series of 6 to 8 lessons tailored to your specific needs. My specialism is teaching Year 2, preparation for KS1 SATs and LKS2.
