About Me
I am a highly committed teacher; very passionate about my subject which I have for 33years now I have adapted to all the curriculum changes of those years, where clear evidence of my teaching, disciplinary and pupil supporting skills and resilience have earned me a fine role model for the students I interact with and sets high standards for. I am vocationally motivated; my delivery skills of guiding students through layers of analytical skills in English and English literature enables them to achieve higher target grades of two levels higher than predicted within the environment of encouragement, support and self believe. Structured sessions would be: introduction, exploration, exemplar and production, then assessment and feedback. The student would then improve (homework) for retention to meet the intended outcome and aspirations of students. Additionally, I am an SEN specialist in: ADHD, Dyscalculia, Mild Learning Difficulties, Moderate Learning Difficulties, Multi-Sensory impairment, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, Speech and Language Difficulties, Autism Awareness Certified and Dyslexia Awareness Certified, making it possible to assist and bring about progress with children with the aforementioned SEN students.
