Our Story

Invicta National Academy was set up as a result of Covid-19 with the sole purpose of reconnecting children with missed learning through the provision of free, live, online, interactive lessons that were open to all.

Our qualified teachers have delivered over 4 million minutes of learning to over 10,000 families from 1,500 schools across the UK throughout the national lockdowns and school holidays.

Now our mission is to help close the opportunity gap by ensuring that every child has access to free or truly affordable top-quality live, online teaching.

Founders' Welcome

Welcome to Invicta National Academy. We were inspired to set up our #PopUpSchool because we were worried about a generation of children falling behind as a result of Covid-19.  We were, and are, still particularly concerned about the most disadvantaged children in our communities, the first to get left behind in usual circumstances, let alone following the Covid-19 school closures.

We are taking action to ensure that all children in the UK have the opportunity to catch up and get back on the front foot.

Cllr. Anna Firth Law LLB (Hons), Barrister, FRSA.
