Online English resources for home education
This list of English resources has been collected by the DfE and assured with support from English Hub schools and trusted teachers.
English: early years foundation stage
Phonics
Evidence shows that learning phonics is most effective when children are taught by following a single programme exclusively, rather than mixing them up. If parents are to support their child’s phonics learning during school closure, schools should try, as far as possible, to provide materials from the same programme as they use in school.
DfE’s validated phonics programmes, and their resources, are listed below.

Other resources
There are other resources available. BESA’s LendEd website and the EdTech Impact website, for example, include varied resources that teachers already use and rate within the websites.
These have not been verified by Invicta Academy's educational experts but we have included them on the list because they also cover other areas of the curriculum that are not covered above.

Access to resources is in most cases free of charge, but it is your responsibility to check whether you have to pay to view and/or copy specific content contained within the resources.
